I’m Mark Yonkman, a Michigan farmer and lifelong advocate for our rural communities, and I’m running for State Senate in District 36. Farming isn’t just what I do — it’s who I am. It’s taught me the value of hard work, responsibility, and taking care of the land and the people who depend on it.

I know firsthand the challenges facing family farms, small businesses, and working families across our district. Too often, rural voices are overlooked in Lansing, and I believe that needs to change. I’m running to make sure our communities have a strong, common-sense voice at the table.
